OPP INVESTIGATE MISCHIEF AND THEFT FROM VEHICLE
(LAURENTIAN VALLEY, ON) – On the morning of October 29, 2016 a passing motorist on Russham Road in Laurentian Valley Township reported damage to a vehicle that was parked along the roadside. The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located the owner of the red 2003 Dodge Ram and learned that it had broken down and was left at the roadside overnight. During the overnight hours the unknown suspect(s) used a metal bar from the box of the pickup truck to smash the driver’s window of the truck and steal a quantity of money from the truck. An OPP Scenes Of Crime Officer (SOCO) is assisting with the investigation.
