Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers and the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the publics’ assistance in solving a break and enter.
In the early morning hours of November 24, 2016 police responded to a break and enter at the former Westmeath Public School on Graham Street in Westmeath. Police found items had been overturned inside the building and a vending machine had been damaged. On the evening of December 18, 2016 police responded to another break and enter at the former school and once again a vending machine was damaged. Based on evidence at the scene police believe there are at least two suspects involved in each break and enter.
