Firearms Stolen After Break-In At Residence In North Algona-Wilberforce Township 

Several firearms recovered, three firearms outstanding

The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break, enter and theft at a residence on Letts Cemetery Road in North Algona-Wilberforce Township that was reported on the afternoon of October 22, 2017. The suspect(s) are believed to have broken into the residence sometime between October 15 and October 22, 2017. A Criminal Code (CC) search warrant at a residence on Reynolds Avenue in the City of Pembroke on November 1, 2017, recovered several firearms in connection with this incident.

The following firearms stolen in this incident remain outstanding:

  • 12 gauge pump-action Mossberg shotgun – Camouflage stock
  • 22 caliber Browning rifle – Brown stock
  • 22 caliber Savage 64-F rifle – Brown stock

An OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) is assisting with the investigation.
