OPP Quickly Recover Stolen Vehicle
Two 18-year-olds facing charges
On December 09, 2017 at just after 330am officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a vehicle that had just been stolen from the driveway of a residence on Metcalfe Street in the City of Pembroke. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys inside. Approximately two hours later police located and stopped the stolen vehicle on Bennett Street in the City of Pembroke.
As a result of Kelsey ROSS and Vaiden ALLEY, both 18 of Petawawa, were arrested and each charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) offenses:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Possession of a schedule II substance – cannabis marihuana
The female and male were both released on a promise to appear and are scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on January 16, 2018.
