Theft Of Money From ATM in Pembroke
Police seek assistance from the public to identify a suspect
The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating after money was stolen from a victim’s account through an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in the City of Pembroke.
On January 22, 2018, at just before 11 am, a customer used an ATM and left their bank card in the machine. A male suspect attended the ATM after the victim had left. The suspect continued the transaction and withdrew a significant amount of money from the victim’s account. The suspect is described as a white male with a receding hairline, brown hair and a short brown beard. He was wearing a black winter jacket with white trim at the time.
