OPP Investigate After Vehicle Strikes Garage In Petawawa
On Sunday, June 17, 2018 at just after 2 am members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious motor vehicle collision in the Town of Petawawa. The involved passenger vehicle came to rest on its roof after it left the roadway and struck a garage and a parked vehicle at a residence on Woodland Crescent. The 41-year-old male driver from Petawawa, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters from the Town of Petawawa and the Garrison Petawawa Fire Department. The male was taken to hospital by paramedics with serious injuries.
OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) members are assisting with the investigation. The incident remains under investigation.
