OPP Investigate Break & Enter + Assault In Pembroke

Resident Assaulted

(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Crime Unit of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a break, enter and assault at a residence on Christie Street in the City of Pembroke which occurred just after midnight on October 26, 2019.

Three unknown males forced their way into the house and a resident of the home sustained serious injuries after being assaulted with an edged weapon.  One of the unknown males also brandished a firearm during the incident.  Three Persons Of Interest (POI), all in their 20’s-30’s, are described as follows:

  • POI #1 – 5’6” tall, round face with some facial hair, ball cap 
  • POI #2 – short brown hair, black jacket 
  • POI # 3 – 6’ tall, bald

An older model light grey or silver coloured SUV may be associated to the POI’s.

OPP’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS) is assisting with the investigation. The incident is not considered a random act at this time.
