Pembroke Resident Wanted on Armed Robbery Charges
A customer was robbed of their opioid prescription at a Pembroke Street East Pharmacy
(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating after a customer was robbed of their opioid prescription at a Pembroke Street East Pharmacy in Pembroke on November 22, 2019.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., a disguised person, who was in possession of a weapon, stole the prescription from the victim inside the pharmacy. The victim was not injured and the robber fled on foot.
As a result of this investigation an arrest warrant has been issued for 34-year old Joel David VISUTSKIE of Pembroke who is wanted for the following Criminal Code charges:
- Robbery with theft
- Disguise with intent
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
