Armed Robbery At Bruham Food Mart
(LAURENTIAN VALLEY TWP, ON) – On the evening of February 9, 2020 at approximately 8:00 p.m., members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an armed robbery at the Bruham Food Mart on Bruham Avenue in Laurentian Valley Township. A masked person entered the store and brandished an edged weapon to the clerk while demanding money. The clerk was not injured and the person fled the store on foot with a quantity of cash. Responding officers, along with the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Canine Unit, were unable to locate the male.
The person of interest involved in this robbery is described as a follows:
- male, 178 cms (5’10”) – 185 cms (6’1”) tall
- wearing a grey coat, grey hoodie, black face mask and blue jeans
The OPP’s Forensic Identification Services (FIS) is assisting with the investigation.

Geez. Scary for the clerk! Hope they catch him! We love Bruham Food Mart. Such a great store with wonderful staff. Also, the image you’ve used for the article is mine lol. No big deal but you should always request permission or offer credit if the image doesn’t belong to you.

Thank God my daughter wasnt in there with any of my grandchildren at the time. They only live across the street so they frequent that store.
