Update: OPP INVESTIGATE VEHICLE THEFT IN PEMBROKE

Vehicle recovered, investigation continuing

(PEMBROKE, ON) – On July 15, 2020 the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating the theft of a Toyota Matrix from a parking lot in the east end of Pembroke.  The vehicle was stolen between the afternoon of July 14 and the morning of July 15, 2020.  On July 17, 2020 the stolen vehicle was recovered after it had been found abandoned in a parking lot on Bruham Avenue in Laurentian Valley Township.  The vehicle had sustained front end damage which police have determined resulted from a fail to remain collision with a culvert on Francis Street in Pembroke on or about July 15, 2020.
