UOV OPP INVESTIGATING SERIOUS ASSAULT (PEMBROKE, ON)

The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a serious assault.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on September 13, 2020, OPP officers began investigating after a 21-year-old male was brought to the hospital with stab wounds. The victim, who has not been forthcoming with information, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries from the assault. At this time, police believe that the assault may have occurred outside an unknown residence, possibly a duplex, in the City of Pembroke in the early morning hours of September 13, 2020. The incident is not considered a random act, and there is no known threat to public safety.
