BREAK-IN UNDER INVESTIGATION

Wallet & credit cards were stolen

(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after a homeowner encountered an intruder in their residence near midnight on September 28, 2020. The break, enter and theft took place at a home on Centre Street in the City of Pembroke. A wallet from the home was stolen and the female intruder fled on foot. No one in the residence was injured. The residence was unlocked, as was the victim’s car which had been rummaged through as well. A stolen credit card associated with this incident was used at a convenience store in Pembroke after the break and enter.

Police have identified a person of interest and the investigation is continuing with the assistance of OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO).
