CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFTS UNDER INVESTIGATION
(LAURENTIAN VALLEY TWP, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of several catalytic converters from vehicles parked at businesses and parking lots in Laurentian Valley Township (LVTP).
In late October catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles at two locations on Greenwood Road in LVTP. On November 17, 2020, catalytic converters were stolen from three vehicles at locations on Pembroke Street West and Matthews Avenue in LVTP. At this time police believe a grey four-door Chevrolet Cobalt may be associated with the thefts on November 17.
