POLICE SEARCH FOR MISSING MAN

      

(PEMBROKE, ON) –The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently searching for a missing 22-year-old male from Pembroke.

Stefan YONKEU was last seen on foot after leaving a residence on Cecil Street in the City of Pembroke at approximately 8:30 a.m. on April 1, 2021. His intended destination is unknown at this time. YONKEU is non-verbal and will not likely approach anyone or speak if approached.

YONKEU is described as:

  • Black male, 5’6” tall, slim build
  • Wearing a black jacket with red lining, black sweat pants, green long-sleeved shirt and black shoes.

OPP’s Canine Unit has been engaged to assist with the search. Police are concerned for YONKEU’s well-being.
