LAKE DORE ROAD COLLISION RESULTS IN CRIMINAL CHARGE
Investigation is continuing
(NORTH ALGONA-WILBERFORCE TWP, ON) – On Sunday July 18, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision in North Algona-Wilberforce Township. The collision took place on Lake Dore Road near Kutschke Road and it involved two passenger vehicles that had been travelling in opposite directions. Both drivers and a passenger were taken to hospital by paramedics with minor injuries.
One of the involved drivers, 31-year-old Cameron Michael WISHART of Beachburg, was charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
- Dangerous operation
The accused was released with a court date on August 31, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke.
The collision remains under investigation.
