ROBBERY UNDER INVESTIGATION
(PEMBROKE, ON) – On December 13, 2021, at approximately 8:20 p.m. members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery at a restaurant in the 700 block of Pembroke Street East in the City of Pembroke.
A masked female entered the store, indicated they had a weapon and demanded cash from an employee. The employee was not injured and the person fled the scene with a quantity of cash. The female, who was on foot, was last observed westbound on Pembroke Street East. Responding officers, along with the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Canine Unit, were unable to locate the person responsible.
The person of interest is described as a female with a slim build, aged 20-40 years old, approximately 5’6” in height, wearing a mask, black coat, and blue jeans.
The UOV OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation with the assistance of an OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) and Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).
